After seeing Tony at the Huntingdon Sports Injury Clinic I came away with a more accurate understanding of the nature of my injury and the general science behind why I needed to do the exercises he prescribed. Having this understanding has given me the incentive to make sure that I am disciplined and focused in the pursuit of my own rehabilitation. I don't like it when I speak to 'experts' and they tell me to do stuff but do not explain why, as has been the case with some other service providers. Tony is someone who is clearly an expert in his field; passionate about seeing people get back to doing the things they want and need to do. He manages to skilfully tread the fine-line between being condescending and over-complicated - giving enough detail to help you know what is going on, using clear and understandable terminology. I would definitely recommend anyone who is struggling with an injury to book themselves in for a consultation, it is definitely worth the money.
I've suffered from stress and tension in my neck and shoulders for years, mainly due to my job as a mobile beautician. One of my client's suggested I try the sports injury clinic, I was amazed how much better I felt after the first consultation, I now have regular 'maintenance' massages which help keep me supple and able to do my work. I would highly recommend (and do recommend) this company (and my particular therapist) to anyone suffering with similar discomfort and not just to someone with a related 'sports' injury.
